RT-BME680 is an evaluation module of enviromental conditions. Module can measure the Indoor Air Quality, pressure, humidity and temperature. BOSCH BME680 sensor itegrates the transducers with an analog-digital converter and a control logic with I2C/SPI interface.
Evaluation module RT-BME680 was designed for user of the evaluation tools and SBC (Single Board Computers) like ARDUINO, Raspberry, Nucleo. Module has voltage shifter circuit for compatbility with 3.3V and 5.0V standard logic.
RT-BME680 has an EN_LDO disable pin which lets to turn on the voltage regulator short before the measurement. This saves energy and reduce influence of the voltage regulator themperature on the temperature measurements.
BME680 is an integrated environmental low power sensor designed for long term stability and EMC robustness. The BME680 integrates high-linearity and high-accuracy gas, pressure, humidity and temperature sensors.
Air Quality, Gas sensor
The gas sensor within the BME680 detects a range of gases to measure indoor air quality (IAQ) index. Gases that can be detected include Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) from paints (such as formaldehyde), lacquers, paint strippers, cleaning supplies, furnishings, office equipment, glues, adhesives and alcohol.
