8 Logic Channels, Single Supply, Bidirectional Voltage Level Shifter RT-NVT2008


This is 8 channels bidirectional voltage level shifter with wire strap slots. Brake off strap lots to save space and use 2.54 mm pin headers instead cable.

RT-NVT2008 is a bidirectional voltage level translator. Signal pass IC both ways seamlessly without need of control transmission direction.
Input voltage drives translator high side (VrefB) and a low voltage regulator (VrefA) which can also be sourced on VL pin. Boards are supplied with fixed voltage regulator: 1V/1.2V/1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5.0V. Output voltage should be selected to supply lower voltage side with  minimum voltage difference between VrefB and VrefA:

(V_Input_B - V_Input_A) >= 1V.

This multpile channel voltage level translator can be used with interfaces: SPI, I2C/TWI, UART or standard logic IO. Example system configurations are showed in the picture:
